Next to a peaceful lake in New Hampshire, there lays a unique town named "Chester". For within Chester's confines are the calloused hands, and prideful citizens, the kids playing Saturday soccer, and the ever hopeful lottery winners. There are also a few unsuspecting souls partnering with fate. One rainy night in Chester, a tragic accident unexpectedly brings together a group of people in search of the same things: the chance to start over, the chance to find love. The destined souls: a single mother and her clairvoyant son, an entertainment lawyer returning home to his dying mother after years of estrangement, and a New York business woman searching for a way to fulfil her life. People thrown together in tragedy, but in the end, bonded by chance.
