Often cited as an undeservedly overlooked slasher movie, TERROR NIGHT (aka BLOODY MOVIE) is a uniquely conceived horror film. Many years ago, silent film star Lance Hayward disappeared entirely, leaving his estate behind. When plans are made to demolish the mansion, a group of teenagers sneak inside to engage in various shenanigans. Soon they are being slaughtered one by one, and the question arises: is Hayward still alive and committing the murders, or is a more supernatural cause to blame? TERROR NIGHT is interesting for its allusions to the silent cinema and because it was co-directed by genre filmmaker Andre De Toth.
