Detectives Sally and Ruger are men from different worlds, but they are partnered to investigate a group of murders that all seem to point to the same woman as suspect: Paula Lane, a seductive sex phone operator who appears to be luring her victims to their doom through her sultry voice. But something doesn't quite sit right, as the lesbian ex-wife of the first victim seems to know more than she is initially letting on. 1-900 is a crime thriller similar to BASIC INSTINCT.
