The life of NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt is depicted in the ESPN original movie 3: THE DALE EARNHARDT STORY. Barry Pepper (who received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his performance of another legendary athlete, Roger Maris, in 61*) portrays Earnhardt, aka "The Intimidator" who won numerous NASCAR titles over the course of his career, often in spectacular and unexpected fashion.
