A movie not to miss? Add to My Movies!   Produced by Wong Jing, one of Hong Kong's most prolific filmmakers, SHAOLIN VS. THE DEVIL'S OMEN (aka SATAN RETURNS) is an action thriller inspired by SEVEN and THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. A serial killer is targeting women with the same birthday, convinced that "Satan's daughter" was born that day and must be found. Donnie Yen (HERO, IRON MONKEY) plays a cop investigating the brutal murders, assisted by Chingmy Yau (of Wong's own infamous NAKED KILLER). What they soon discover, however, is that she may be the killer's next victim. The film is a departure from normal Hong Kong action films in that it emphasizes an atmosphere of horror and an unfolding mystery as opposed to treating the plot merely as an excuse for the action sequences.
