William H. Macy and David Arquette star in this comedy about a flawed plot to kidnap Frank Sinatra Jr. Based on the real life kidnapping of the famed singer's son in 1963, STEALING SINATRA puts a black humor spin on what was, at the time, a rather sobering event. This technique is reminiscent of TO DIE FOR. Filmmaker Ron Underwood delightfully revels in the domino effect of bad choices that break down into hilarious chaos. These acclaimed actors play up the bumbling, essentially harmless characteristics of these criminal idiots.
