Starring legendary Western star Bob Steele, DESERT PATROL follows the investigation surrounding the murder of a Ranger. Steele plays Ranger Dave Austin, who heads up the inquiry by disguising himself as an outlaw in an attempt to bring the perpetrator of the crime to justice. He quickly ascertains who the killer is, but also stumbles across the boss of a money laundering crime syndicate, Dan Drury (Rex Lease). Keen to bring both the killer and the head of the syndicate to justice, Austin stays undercover and takes a job on Drury's ranch. But when his true identity is revealed by Drury's sister, he faces an uncertain ending in his attempts to arrest the various miscreants he has encountered.
