However, two announcements change both their plans and their lives. Emma (Jacqueline McKenzie) and Harry (Jack Thompson) announce their wish to marry, despite having made no plans or even procured a license. When Emma then reveals to the group that she is gravely ill, the friends rally around the couple and set about throwing them a wedding.
