A look at the life of the famous painter Rembrandt, from the ages of 28 to 63. Moving to Amsterdam as a young man, Rembrandt quickly makes a name for himself as a painter of portraits and as a teacher. After marrying his first wife, Saskia, the couple move into a large home, but are increasingly beset by health ailments and miscarriage.
