Three college-aged guys (Paulson, Huntington, Roday) and a narcoleptic friend, Kevin (Finn), exploring his sexuality hit the road in search of a legendary forest of marijuana on a map left to them by their hippie parents. The oldest brother is the leader of the group, while the other two are one who can't control his temper, and one who is angry about being stuck in a wheelchair. Along the way, they meet an aging hippie shaman (Torn) and a DEA agent (Pollak) also looking for the weeds.
