A bank cleaning woman, a formerly wealthy woman fallen on hard times, a pregnant hairdresser, and an angry punk rocker come together to chaotically plan a bank robbery in this comical Spanish import with a distinct feminist bent. As the four women plan their crime, they get to know each other and help each other through their personal problems--but their lack of experience with criminal activity makes their planning a bit unsatisfactory! Pedro Almodovar regular Carmen Maura heads a talented cast in this well-made, appealingly offbeat comedy.
