Set in the same universe as BUBBLEGUM CRISIS, albeit in the years before that series took place, AD POLICE FILES is a much deeper and more serious look at some of the themes toyed with in the more humorous and action oriented BUBBLEGUM series. This set captures the entire five hour series that begins as a crime wave hits Genom City, putting pressure on the police to curb the influx of mutating cyborgs known as VOOMERS. As their threat begins to seem more menacing, there is also a drama unfolding in the ranks of the police as the veteran Special Officer Kenji Sasaki takes on a new partner, Hans Kleif, while battling some personal demons that continue to haunt him. Contains all 12 episodes on two discs.
