An extremely popular anime and manga in Japan, CARDCAPTORS follows the exploits of 10 year-old Sakura, who unleashes a host of spirits from a deck of Tarot cards enclosed in a magical book. CARCAPTORS: THE MOVIE is a stand-alone film that was released theatrically in Japan. In it, Sakura wins a trip to Hong Kong and quickly finds that she has been lured there by Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards. Unfortunately, Sakura has brought Tomoyo and Syaoran Li with her, placing their lives in jeopardy as she prepares to do battle with Clow Reed. CARDCAPTORS is the edited version of CARDCAPTOR SAKURA.
