A fictitious recount based on a true story... In Russia, a poor, desolate and dry settlement in the arid backlands of northeast Brazil, Darlene Linhares is a woman who wants it all. The mother of two, Darlene gets what she wants by taking three "husbands." With more sensuality than physical beauty and a voracious appetite for men, Darlene wins the attention of her husband, the older, wealthy Osias; Zezinho, Osias' sweet and amiable cousin; and Ciro, a young handsome field worker. The men, each captivated by her, learn to live with and compliment each other in a uniquely unconventional situation.
