Duke is a bounty hunter. But when a corrupt sheriff and his deputies kill his best friend, his energies are turned toward vengence. As he nears his objective he stumbles onto an elaborate plot to steal land from the local Indians - a moral indignation which takes priority even over his thirst for revenge.
