Fantasy collides with reality as Betty Sizemore, a waitress from Fair Oaks, Kansas hits the road in a "borrowed" 1997 Buick LeSabre to be reunited with the love of her life -- Dr. Ravell. The only problem is that Dr. Ravell is a primary character on the soap opera "A Reason to Live" and Betty, after witnessing the traumatic murder of her husband in a drug-deal gone bad, has convinced herself that she is Nurse Betty, the woman who jilted Ravell at the alter six years ago.
