Scott (Kersey) has been carrying twelve years worth of guilt since his mother's death in a car accident while his father (Coburn) falls into a deep depression. As a result, the once loving father and son relationship becomes bitter and cold. Even though they both share a mutual love for the other, since the tragic accident their feelings have been repressed. Their relationship is in a state of turmoil. Although once Scott is found suspiciously murdered, his father finds himself determined to uncover the truth about what happened and bring his son's killer to justice.
