Leo Genn stars as Johnny Solo, the owner of a seamy London nightclub battling a series of rivals in order to stay in business. Pinup superstar Jayne Mansfield costars as his girlfriend Midnight Franklin, a nightclub performer miraculously squeezed into a series of nearly-transparent, impossibly tight outfits. Steeped in the atmosphere of pre-Swinging Sixties London, Terence Young's neo-noir melodrama showcases Mansfield's bombshell eroticism and features a small supporting turn by nascent horror icon Christopher Lee.
