Set in working-class Brooklyn, a comedic modern-day telenovela which explores Latinos coming-of-age and coming-to-terms with sexuality and role-playing. Repressed and twenty-years-old, Justin still indulges his passion for pop stars and Mexican telenovelas in the comfort of his bedroom, still cluttered with his childhood memorabilia. By day, Justin works part-time as an assistant to Monica, a white photographer currently compiling an erotic portfolio on young Latinos. Slowly, his job becomes more and more engaging. By night, Justin frequents a trendy downtown niteclub, where temptation is safetly answered in his secret land of fantasy--his own imagination... That is, until his savvy cousin, Angel, arrives; he is everything Justin is not--a savvy charmer--and Justin soon finds himself attracted to his cousin, and must learn to deal with the consequences. Creating havoc with stereotypes of the latin macho, gay or straight, it is ultimately a story of loss of innocence and first love.
