A director tries desperately to finish shooting his deeply symbolic hockey movie in time for the Venice Film Festival. But everything goes wrong on-set: from crew members injuring themselves on the ice to lights melting it, from sloppy actors to bored extras, the director has his work cut out to get the film in the can on time.
