Ramona arrives unannounced at her older sister Tanya's home in Seattle. Unprepared to deal with difficult family issues, Tanya avoids her sister and Ramona ends up spending most of her time with Tanya's roommate, Bold, a gay performance artist. Bold attempts to reconcile the two sisters but when he inadvertently shocks Ramona with the news that Tanya is a lesbian, Ramona reveals the real reason why she came to Seattle.
