A Los Angeles couple videotape several policemen brutally beating a Latino motorist to death. When the cops learn they have been taped, they try to pin the murder on the couple, who are forced to go on the run. On the road to Las Vegas, they pick up a hippie couple who turn out to be criminals, while the crooked Los Angeles police remain hot on their trail.
