With the horrible 1985 earthquake as its backdrop, TRAGICO TERREMOTO EN MEXICO is a disaster film that celebrates the bravery and resiliency of the Mexican people during this event. Using a large cast of characters to illustrate the ways different Mexicans dealt with the disaster, the story focuses on Patricia, who gives birth to a baby boy as the earthquake hits. Trapped in the hospital with her new infant, Patricia becomes the focus of one of the many rescue efforts during the trying time.
