    Three Good Reasons

    • 1
Steven Spielberg has directed six films set in or around World War II, but this is his first time telling a World War I story.
    • 2
The film is an adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's much-loved young adult novel, which was also made into this year's Tony Award-winning play.
    • 3
The film is populated by a stellar assembly of esteemed British actors: Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Tom Hiddleston, Peter Mullan, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

    -------

    Bet You Didn't Know...

While most directors never make more than one movie in a year, Steven Spielberg has released two movies in the same calendar year five times. In previous instances, he had one film in the summer and one in the winter. "Tintin" and "War Horse" marks the first time he's put out two movies within a week of each other.

if you're being serious, then fine. if you're being ironic, then drop dead and rot in hell. Wherever there are jews, there is scientific inquiry, medical progress, law, civilization, vibrant university life, democracy, art and commerce. Jews comprise a HUGE overrepresentation of Nobel Laureates and a disproportionately LOW percentage of incarcerated criminals (in contrast to the over-representaton of the peace-loving moslems and christians).

oh, and by the way, after 20 centuries or so of being persecuted and murdered--but accomplishing the above anyway--Jews got a little tired of it, and 5000 of them whipped the entire arab world in 1946, and again in 55, 67 and 73, while putting together the finest air force, armored infantry and covert intelligence system IN THE WORLD!!

This movie will not perform well, and we all know it will have a hidden message about the Jews.

Are you out of your mind??? This movie deals with WW1 which was prior to the Holocaust during World War II, I cannot imagine what "hidden message" you could be talking about... it is a proven fact that over 6 million Jews were brutally forced into concentration camps where the majority were murdered in gas chambers. Spielberg's Schindler's List was specifically about Jews being forced into concentration camps and then the horror that occurred when they arrived in the camps and it was a very successful film.

Well, Vicki, Germany lost WWI because it was betrayed by international Jewry and
Bolshevism. Hitler wasn't a bad guy, but it was this turn of history that made him so angry at Jews and Communists (same thing) and the internation Jewish bankers' conspiracy and CAPITALISTS (same thing) that he was forced into WWII to rescue Germany's pride and dignity and livelihood.

I think this bit of history--so well outlined in Mein Kampf--is what Studbudgee is so cleverly alluding to.

I'm deeply moved everytme I see a trailer for this film. Spielberg looks to have crafted a true masterpiece with substance and depth, set against an epic and breathtakingly sweeping canvas of the Great War and a world that long ago vanished. I predict huge numbers at the box office.
