What's The Story
Jesse Rodriguez, the youngest of the Rodriguez family, has returned safely from combat overseas to join his parents, brother, and sister in Chicago for Christmas. Expecting a chance to reforge old bonds, Jesse and his siblings are unprepared for the bombshell their mother drops: she's leaving their father. This revelation sends the family into chaos, but when a real crisis emerges, they manage to put aside their differences, find humor amid all the drama, and prove they're still family after all.
Three Good Reasons
- 1'Tis the season to treat your family to a real holiday movie -- one that will make you laugh and bring tears to your eyes.
- 2With talented actors like Alfred Molina, John Leguizamo, and Freddy Rodriguez heading up the cast list, you can expect top-notch performances.
- 3Watching the Rodriguez family bicker and wrestle with chainsaws may make you appreciate your own family all the more.
Bet You Didn't Know
It's not surprising that one of the lead actors shares a last name with his character. "Rodriguez", meaning roughly "Son of the famous power," is the 9th most common last name in North America.
