What's The Story
This comic romp tells the true story of John Grogan, a journalist who decides to get a dog for his wife as a warm-up to having children. The puppy, named Marley after the reggae legend, turns out to be the single most badly behaved animal in the history of pet ownership. Over the years, the neurotic, hyperactive, and untrainable Marley wreaks more destruction than the next dozen dogs combined. But despite the headaches he causes, Marley teaches his family a new trick called unconditional love.Three Good Reasons
- 1How is it that the funny and easy-on-the-eyes Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston haven't been in a movie together before?
- 2It's from the director of The Devil Wears Prada with a screenplay from Independent Spirit Award winners Scott Frank and Don Roos.
- 3Have you seen Marley? He may be "the worst dog in the world," but he might also be the cutest.
Bet You Didn't Know
Who knew the comic cutie had an artistic side? During the shooting of the film, Owen Wilson wrote poems and shared them with Alan Arkin, who shared poetry of his own in return. Their literary bonding continued via email once the movie wrapped. For more family related movie fare, visit Yahoo! Kids More about Marley & Me on Yahoo! Movies
