Synopsis:
10-year-old JB (Jack Black) is stuck in the small town of Kickapoo with a father (Meat Loaf) who thinks rock n' roll is the devil's work. So he grows up wanting nothing more than to prove his father right. Following the guidance of his guardian angel, Ronnie James Dio, Jables leaves home to a new life in California. On Venice Beach, he meets KG (Kyle Gass), who he enlists to train him in the ways of rock. Together, they set out on a quest to retrieve the Pick of Destiny and gain the power that will make them the greatest band in the world.
