Synopsis:
Fashion designer Melanie Carmichael (Reese Witherspoon) suddenly finds herself engaged to New York City's most eligible bachelor. But Melanie's past holds many secrets, including Jake (Josh Lucas), the redneck husband she married in high school, who refuses to divorce her.
