Synopsis:
Set in the 1970s in an urban metropolis called "Bay City," this is the tale of two police detectives, Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson (Owen Wilson), and Dave Starsky (Ben Stiller). They're new partners with different styles who always seem to be designated the toughest cases in the department. Relying on omniscient street informer Huggy Bear (Snoop Dogg), they race to the scene of every crime in their souped-up 1974 Ford Torino hot rod. Paired up for the first time on a high profile case (as a prequel to the TV show), Starsky and Hutch are out to get a former college campus drug dealer (Vince Vaughn) who has developed an even greater vision for his underworld narcotics enterprise.
