Synopsis: The latest John Sayles film follows the grammatically-challenged, "user-friendly" gubernatorial candidate Dicky Pilager (Chris Cooper), during his Colorado campaign to win office. When Pilager finds that he's reeled in a corpse during the taping of an environmental ad, his ferocious campaign manager, Chuck Raven (Richard Dreyfuss), hires a P.I. to investigate potential links between the corpse and Pilager's enemies.
