JAMES BOND - 007 (Daniel Craig)
Affiliation: Secret Intelligence Service, a.k.a. MI6
Bond has returned to active duty with MI6 after briefly resigning. After foiling terrorist financier Le Chiffre, he had hoped to retire with Treasury agent Vesper Lynd. But he discovered that Lynd had been blackmailed into working for Quantum, the shadowy group behind Le Chiffre's operation. Vesper was killed, but left Bond a clue to finding the man responsible for her betrayal, Mr. White.

M (Judi Dench)
Affiliation: Head of MI6
M regretted promoting Bond to 00-status after a publicized shooting in a foreign embassy, but his tenacity in pursing Le Chiffre showed her his value as an agent. On this mission, however, M questions if 007 is driven by a sense of duty or one of revenge. As dangerous as Bond is as a double-0 agent, he would be even more so out on his own.

FELIX LEITER (Jeffrey Wright)
Affiliation: Central Intelligence Agency
American CIA agent Felix Leiter was on his own mission to take down Le Chiffre when he first encountered Bond. Leiter funded Bond's re-entry into Le Chiffre's poker tournament that led to the terrorist's downfall. Now, with Bond unable to trust anyone within his own agency, he turns to Leiter as his only source of untainted information.

MR. WHITE (Jesper Christensen)
Affiliation: Quantum
A figure shrouded in mystery, Mr. White served to connect Le Chiffre with terrorists groups who needed his services. But when Le Chiffre lost $150 million, Mr. White executed him. He recovered the money and retreated to his lakeside estate, only to be shot and captured by Bond. During interrogation, Mr. White reveals that his organization has a greater reach than 007 and M ever imagined.

DOMINIC GREENE (Mathieu Amalric)
Affiliation: Greene Planet/Quantum
Dominic Greene is the chairman of Greene Planet, a corporation that puports to be protecting the environment. Bond discovers that this is actually a cover for Greene's actual role within Quantum. Greene is plotting to overthrow the government of Bolivia and install the exiled General Medrano into power to take over the country's resources.

AGENT FIELDS (Gemma Arterton)
Affiliation: MI6
A young agent working out of the British consulate in Boliva, Fields becomes Bond's contact in the country in more ways than one. New to the spy game, Fields may be too untrained or possibly too naïve to have a relationship -- working or otherwise -- with a double-0 agent.
