Synopsis:
Epitomizing the glamour and decadence of 1980s Reagan-era America, in season one, Alexis Colby (Joan Collins), divorced from oil magnate Blake Carrington, does all she can to destroy his new relationship with Krystle, his former secretary, who learns to adapt to her new role as a wealthy aristocrat. Blake looks to work through his problems with his gay son, though he is eventually put on trial for the murder of his son's lover.
