Synopsis:
A bored little boy (Spencer Breslin) and girl (Dakota Fanning) are visited on a rainy day, while their mother (Kelly Preston) is away, by a Cat in a Hat (Mike Myers), along with Thing #1 and Thing #2, who quickly proceed to make a mess of the house. This is one of the top ten best-selling hardcover children's books of all time, and the live-action production brings the characters in the book to life, as well as creating some new ones specifically for the film.
