Synopsis:
Havana: November, 1958. Eighteen-year-old Katey Miller (Rene Lavan) brings an innate curiosity to her new life in Cuba’s lush capital. An educated child of privilege, Katey finds herself drawn to Javier (Diego Luna), a local waiter who also happens to be brilliant dancer. Determined to learn the slinky, sultry moves that come so naturally to Javier, Katey persuades him to partner with her in a prestigious dance competition. Meeting secretly, Katey and Javier practice their steps and a sensual passion develops between them. But when the night of the contest finally arrives, Katey and Javier find that the streets of Havana are about to erupt in revolutionary chaos.
