Synopsis:
What Jake Vig (Ed Burns) doesn't know just might get him killed. He and his crew, Gordo, Miles, and Big Al have just swindled thousands of dollars from the unsuspecting Lionel Dolby. But Lionel and Big Al turn up dead, and it turns out that Lionel wasn't just anybody; he was an accountant for eccentric crime boss The King (Dustin Hoffman). Jake offers to repay The King by pulling off an even bigger con. The mark? Morgan Price, a banker with deep ties to organized crime. With so much riding on the outcome, Jake decides to bring in a brash pickpocket named Lily (Rachel Weisz), but he's also got to stay ahead of his old nemesis, federal agent Gunther Butan (Andy Garcia).
