After nearly 18 months of waiting, Twi-hards everywhere finally have a chance to see "Breaking Dawn, Part 1." Fans waited for days to catch a glimpse of the cast of the movie last Monday during the black carpet premiere, hosted by Yahoo! This weekend, the movie  earned over 137 million at the box office. So what did Twilight Fans think of "Breaking Dawn"? We perused some of the finest fan sites around to find out:

Lori Joffs of "The Twilight Lexicon was clearly impressed with the movie. "Over all, I really enjoyed the film. I found myself laughing out loud at several moments and nearly cried at others. I know there were some things that I missed in my first viewing, so I'm excited to see it again and take it all in. It is very true to the book, which as an original fan of the book I appreciate so much! Thank you, Bill Condon, for staying true to the story and for finding realism in something so heavily embedded in fantasy. And thank you to the cast for going to those dark places and

    • Burning questions from ‘Breaking Dawn’ premiere

Last night nearly every star in the "Twilight" firmament turned out for the world premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1" at the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Naturally, all eyes were on closely orbiting binary stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as the pair made their way down the "black carpet" premiere.

What Was Rob Whispering to Kristen?

Although they set aside plenty of time for the 1,200 or so people who had camped out to meet them, the typically private real-life couple were a bit cozier than usual in public. Maybe it was Kristen's leggy stunner of a dress—a sparkling J. Mendes blue gown—but Rob couldn't resist whispering to her as they made their way through the melee arm-in-arm. Who knows what he was saying, but she certainly seemed amused by it.

Although it was rumored that the Kardashian half-sisters crashed the "Twilight" premiere, apparently the two teenage fashionistas actually did make

Ava Sambora and Heather Locklear (Photo by Nelson Balanton/Yahoo!)LOS ANGELES -- "Ah-mazing" was the word of the night at the Los Angeles premiere for "The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn: Part 1." The stars came out in droves, and the screams from fans got louder as the night progressed. Below, some of the most viral moments from the premiere gala.

Ava Sambora walked the black (not red) carpet and created a buzz alongside her mom, Heather Locklear. Sambora inherited her mom's stunning genes, and this isn't the first time she's stepped out alongside Locklear. The two teamed up for the WTB Spring 2011 Fashion Show in October. Locklear, who recently turned 50, said she and her 14-year-old daughter even wear the same clothes now, and at the premiere their styles mirrored each other (both mom and daughter skipped red carpet gowns and wore skinny black pants -- though Locklear chose leather).

"I always say I want to come back as Ava Sambora. She has such confidence," Locklear recently told People magazine.

Some have also seen Sambora before on the runway

LOS ANGELES -- Does Bella's wedding mean she's finally grown up? Possibly, if Kristen Stewart's red carpet style at tonight's "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" premiere was any indication. For starters, the 21-year-old actress stepped out of a limo wearing sensible sneakers, before swapping them for her more spotlight-appropriate black Jimmy Choos.

There was a good reason for her initial unconventional red carpet footwear. The actress was nursing an injury so towering heels must have been a painful prospect. "I hurt it running around" while filming "Snow White and the Huntsman," she said to E! Online. According to her co-star, filming for the movie ended early on Wednesday. "It's a wrap for today. Kristen has hurt herself...nothing scary. We shoot on Friday," he said.

LOS ANGELES -- One surprising "Twilight" fan crashed the black carpet at Monday night's packed premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part I," and she proclaimed herself on Team Edward.

NASCAR race car driver Danica Patrick chucked her usual helmet and padded suit for a superglam look. She wore her long, brown wavy hair down, and donned a black strapless dress and curvy gold statement necklace.

"I'm going to fly home tonight, but I couldn't miss this!" said Patrick, grinning on the black carpet.
Gushing about "Twilight" star Rob Pattinson, aka vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen, Patrick said she was on Team Edward, not Team Jacob — the fan base behind Taylor Lautner's werewolf stud Jacob Black.

"My [Team Edward] tanktop is underneath this," joked Patrick, gesturing to her dress.

Patrick also said she loved reading the "Twilight" books and was looking forward to the highly anticipated wedding scene between Edward and his love Bella.

Mackenzie Foy (Photo by Vince Bucci/Yahoo!)LOS ANGELES -- "She's so small, I almost ran her over," Michael Welch said of his newest—and tiniest—co-star, Mackenzie Foy. Small but mighty, Foy, who plays Bella's (Kristen Stewart) daughter Renesmee in "Breaking Dawn," handled her first red (or in this case, black) carpet experience like a seasoned pro.

"It is just really cool," the 10-year-old actress said, later admitting, "I was a little nervous."

If she had the jitters, it didn't show. Decked out in a blue velvet dress, Foy detailed her "Twilight" experience for Yahoo! Movies with a cool confidence befitting her half-vampire character. "I saw the first and second one," she said, referring to the "Twilight" and "New Moon" films. "But I don't want to read the books until I'm older."

Smart kid. Spoken like a true Cullen.
