Who’s Gonna Be the NEXT to Ride the Tom Cruise Career Train? (Choo-Choo!)

Last week, we ran Rosamund Pike, the newest Tom Cruise Girl (she's playing opposite Cruise in "One Shot"), through the Tom Cruise Girl Career Chart, noting that generally speaking, acting opposite Tom Cruise is good for one's career. Well, Cruise has another project coming up, and, as tends to be the case, four ladies are fighting for the lead role. You won't be able to wear heels for a while, girls, but trust us, it'll be good for you in the long run.

Anyway, the movie is "Horizons" -- it was originally called "Oblivion," but nobody sits at home on a Saturday afternoon and says "I want to go to Oblivion tonight," save for maybe a heroin addict -- and it's directed by Joseph Kosinski, the wunderkind who brought us "Tron: Legacy." This time the ladies are a little more high profile than Rosamund Pike, no offense to Rosamund Pike.

They are: Brit Marling, the winsome drunk driver in "Another Earth;" Jessica Chastain, who has been a little more highbrow than this so far in her career; Olga Kurylenko, who was also a Bond girl (like Pike) before starting to go serious over the last few years; Olivia Wilde, who is in everything; and Noomi Rapace, the original "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" and might make the audience believe she's constantly beating Cruise up off screen.

The movie comes out in July 2013, so we have, you know, forever until anyone has to decide. By the way, here are the age differences between each actress and Cruise:

Marling: 22 years younger
Chastain: 19 years younger
Kurylenko: 17 years younger
Wilde: 22 years younger
Rapace: 17 years younger
