Danza, best known for playing Alyssa Milano's father in "Who's the Boss?," will play Gordon-Levitt's dad in the untitled dark comedy. According to Variety, Gordon-Levitt will play a porn-addicted young man who seeks to change his ways. Scarlett Johansson will play Gordon-Levitt's girlfriend. Oscar nominee Julianne Moore has an unconfirmed role.
This won't be the first time that Gordon-Levitt and Danza have worked together. Back in 1994, the two starred in "Angels in the Outfield," a Disney comedy about a foster kid (Gordon-Levitt) who asks the man upstairs to help his beloved California Angels win the pennant. Danza played the team's aging pitcher.

It wouldn't be entirely accurate to call the upcoming film a comeback for Danza. After all, he's never really gone away. In 2005, Danza appeared in "Crash," which won the Oscar for best picture. He's also had long runs as a TV talk show host, both on his own program and filling in on "Live With Regis and Kelly." In 1998, he was nominated for an Emmy for his work on "The Practice."
And then there's his work on the stage. Danza starred in the Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's "The Iceman Cometh." He's also starred in the musical comedy "The Producers," in both New York and Las Vegas. In 2013, he'll return to Broadway for a musical adaptation of 1992's "Honeymoon in Vegas."

Still, a role opposite a popular young actor could introduce Danza to a new generation of fans. Shooting on the film is scheduled to begin this month.
