This year's MTV Movie Awards, airing later this month, has a bunch of goodies in store. One of them: the first two-and-a-half minutes of "Catching Fire" footage, to be introduced by Gale Hawthorne himself, Liam Hemsworth.
But first, you can catch an initial ultrafast glimpse of the extremely anticipated sequel to last year's box office smash "The Hunger Games," starring freshly minted Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Melark.

And there they are!... er, there are the backs of their heads! (Elizabeth Banks, thems some awesome hand gestures.)
Jokes aside, we'll be watching the "teaser trailer first look" (whatever that means) with bated breath just like everyone else.
Our quick peek at Katniss shows her usual forced smile, ever hiding her hatred for the games. This time she returns as the co-victor of the 74th Annual Hunger Games and is forced to leave her family and friends to hitch a ride on the "Victors Tour." While on her tour of the districts Katniss senses an uprising brewing as the Capitol preps for its next round of games.
Based on Suzanne Collins' wildly popular book series, "Catching Fire" is directed by Francis Lawrence ("I Am Legend") and is due in theaters November 22.
In case you miss the teaser trailer's MTV debut, you can check it online after the show at hungergamesexplorer.com.
The MTV Movie Awards airs April 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
