Gwyneth Paltrow is starring in what will almost certainly be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year and People has just named her the World's Most Beautiful Woman. So when she's asked about her life at a red carpet event, what does she talk about?
Her kids' report cards.
Making her first public appearance since the People announcement, Paltrow was a star attraction at Wednesday's Los Angeles premiere of "Iron Man 3," in which she reprises her role as Pepper Potts, Tony Stark's assistant and love interest. So naturally, Yahoo! Movies had to ask her how she felt this morning when she received the call that she was officially the most beautiful person on Earth.
"Steven Huvane, my publicist of 21 or 22 years, wrote me an email and I honestly thought, 'Oh, he sent this to the wrong person,'" Paltrow said. "I was re-reading it and saying, 'There's no way this is for me! I'm reading this wrong!' I felt like he was going to be like, 'Just kidding! April fools!'"

Despite the enviable designation of being deemed most beautiful, Paltrow had a different answer in mind when we asked what was the best thing that's happened to her since joining the "Iron Man" franchise.
"That's a really good question … I mean, so many things. My cookbook is No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list ... and my kids have gotten really good report cards! You know, everything's all right."
Things are a little better than all right for Paltrow, who was decked out in a stylish Antonio Berardi gown and wearing an unusual set of earrings that resembled a bunch of grapes. (Paltrow shrugged off compliments about the jewelry, saying, "My stylist is very clever.")
Paltrow looks especially good in "Iron Man 3," showing off a set of abs that would make her the envy of nearly any mother of two. When asked about her secret, Paltrow offered a shout out to her personal trainer. "It’s Tracy Anderson, honestly," Paltrow said. "I'm very religious with her method, and she's changed my life. I owe it all to her."
And speaking of her kids, Moses and Apple, Paltrow revealed that they're "Iron Man" fans, and being part of the franchise has scored her some major Cool Mom points. "They've seen it ['Iron Man 3']," Paltrow said. "They're 7 and 8, my daughter is nearly 9. This is right up their alley."
Moses was especially impressed when he got to see his mother decked out in her own Iron Man suit. "I will never forget my son's face, ever," she said. "I walked out on set in the suit and he was there. He looked up at me like 'This is so great.' I am scoring big time! Oh my God, it was so fun."
Gwyneth Paltrow, typical mom. Who just so happens to be a movie star, a best-selling author, wife to a rock star … and the most beautiful person on the planet.
