‘Breaking Dawn’ child revealed in photo with Bella and Edward

She's half human, half vampire, and entirely adorable -- in a stoic, bloodthirsty sort of way. Bella and Edward's first offspring Renesmee has been revealed as she makes her big screen debut -- in a talking role -- in "Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2" (in theaters November 16).

Renesmee, seen peeking through in this photo released by Entertainment Weekly, is played by 11-year-old Mackenzie Foy -- and yes, she has grown up quite quickly since she was born in "Part 1." (To be fair, Foy did make a brief appearance as Renesmee in "Part 1" during a flash forward scene depicting the thoughts of Jacob -- played by Taylor Lautner.)

Speaking of flash forwards, before "Twilight," Foy appeared in the show "Flash Forward," as well as "Hawaii Five-O," and has other television and film projects on the horizon. Foy was actually filming "Five-O" when she found out she got the part of Renesmee, as she told Yahoo! Movies during the premiere for "Part 1" (see video below).

Director Bill Condon indicates Renesmee is "hugely important." He also said this during his EW interview:

It really brought something paternal out in Rob, and Kristen was especially protective. I'd have to interrupt them when they were in deep conversation to get going with a scene.

In the film, Renesmee is the catalyst for intense conflict between the Cullen clan and the Volturi vampires. (Gang war, anyone?) And judging from her prior appearance in "Part 1," we gather she could grow to become Jacob's eventual love interest.

Kristen Stewart also shared with EW her thoughts on the girl who plays her daughter:

I loved chatting with Mackenzie... I'm always curious about what's going on in the minds of kids on set. She's really close to the age I was when I started [acting].
