'The Great Gatsby': The movie and the book (Warner Bros. / Scribner)If you haven't already, you're going to hear a whole bunch of gripes about "The Great Gatsby" movie out this weekend. And the biggest of them all will likely have something to do with how faithful it was to the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel.

Needless to say, there are some significant changes. But there are significant changes in "Iron Man" when put up against the comic books -- sometimes change is necessary, and even good. Then again, sometimes they're not.

We've narrowed it down to five key differences between Baz Luhrmann's adaptation and the Fitzgerald text (other than that whole Jay-Z thing) so you can be mentally prepared, for better or for worse.

In an Internet-obsessed age when it seems as though too many people seek fame via viral videos, it's easy to forget that there are plenty of people out there who didn't intend for certain videos to end up online and became Internet famous for something deeply embarrassing. Case in point the "Star Wars kid," Ghyslain Raza, who was made Internet famous ten years ago when a video of him yielding a gold club retriever as a lightsaber hit the Interwebs.

And prognosticators are betting the Robert Downey Jr. comic book flick will easily beat Leonardo DiCaprio as the star of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel adaptation, making "Iron Man" a likely candidate as the No. 1 film its second weekend running. ("Gatsby" is set to open at an estimated $30 million, according to Variety -- not too shabby.)

When it comes to these two films fighting it out, there are a few other grudge matches we've concocted that pit the leading men – an their respective fictional counterparts -- against each other in battles of the bucks.

'Photo: The Weinstein CompanyWhoever coined the term 'Oscar bait' definitely had a movie like "August: Osage County" in mind when they did so, especially now that we've had our first glimpse at the trailer. Really for anyone who has been following the film, based on the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning play by Tracy Letts, who also wrote the screenplay, the stars are so brightly lined-up for this project that a lot of award nominations should already be reserved.
