2014 is going to be a really big year for actress Shailene Woodley.

Twenty-one-year-old Woodley, already well known as the star of the successful TV series "The Secret Life Of The American Teenager," earned rave reviews for her work in the movie "The Descendants," and she's currently shooting what should be one of next year's box office blockbusters, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," in which she'll play Mary Jane Watson. Now Woodley's name is linked to two more high profile projects.

We are gathered here today to remember one of Hollywood's greatest treasures: Chuck Norris's beard. The well-trimmed facial hair lived a long and butt-kicking life during its decades-long existence on Norris's face. Now -- sadly -- the beard is no more.

We were first alerted to the shocking news by TMZ. The gossip site ran a photo -- presumably recent -- of Norris enjoying the great outdoors without his beard's company.

It's official - Godzilla has invaded Vancouver!

It was announced Monday that shooting has begin on the upcoming reboot of the "Godzilla" franchise from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures. Principle photography is taking place in the Western Canadian city of Vancouver, with Gareth Edwards behind the camera as director.

The announcement came with word of another major addition to the cast: Ken Watanabe is joining "Godzilla."

And it passed its first box-office test over the weekend with flying colors.

Fresh off some major South by Southwest buzz, "Spring Breakers" raked in $270,000 from just three theaters in New York and Los Angeles in its very limited opening.
