Paul Walker, ‘Fast & Furious’ Star, Reportedly Dead at 40

Paul Walker, the tall, blond-haired, blue-eyed heartthrob who became an international star with "The Fast & the Furious" movie franchise, has reportedly died in a fiery car collision in Southern California. He was 40 years old.

CBS Los Angeles reports that two people were pronounced dead at the scene of a crash in Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles. TMZ was the first to report that Walker crashed a Porsche GT he was test driving. The identity of the second passenger is not yet known.

Walker stared in all but the third installment of the "Fast & Furious" movies, including the seventh chapter which is still in production and scheduled for release next summer. He also appeared in "Pleasantville," "Varsity Blues," and "Flags of our Fathers."
