he may not be the young Eddie Murphy I grew up watching in the 80's but I would like to see him return to what made him a star and stop with these awful movies hes been making.... the last movie I really enjoyed with him was the movie Life.......I hope this movie(Tower Heist) gives us a bit of the Eddie we all liked so much and miss

I thought his laugh was REALLY how HE laughed. I didn't know it was a fake laff! I'm amazed at that.

Eddie Murphy was always funny to me in the past but now he's just too mature. He was so funny back then using jokes and cursing. He was really good at what he did. Eddie Murphy Raw was a classic and still funny when you look back. I just wish he kept that immaturity he had back then instead of now.

you wanna hear something completely wacky, i read online that the "new" eddie that seems so different from the old one, is actually a clone of the real one! (of course, we all know that people can't be cloned, they can only do that with animals.)

First of all, Murphy isn't young and fresh anymore. He's a middle aged man so it's a little late for him to be trying to get back to his roots. He was funny with the schtick when he was a kid but it doesn't play as well now that he's older. Second, I always wondered if his rant against the Academy at the Oscars years ago when he was a presenter-about ignoring great African American actors-impacted his film career..

Eddie was on Regis and Kelly the other day and not one laugh like he would do normally. Guess he's just getting older and got away from it....

Good Man, sometimes you have to admit that what others may love about you has become fake and needs to be discarded. One of the things that makes Eddie the Man he is, is the fact that his signature can be changed. He isn't a 'BAM'!!!!! Kind of guy.
