Jennifer Lawrence shot to worldwide fame in “The Hunger Games” and just won a Golden Globe for “Silver Linings Playbook.” But you might not know that, like many big Hollywood stars before her, Lawrence’s first big break came on the small screen.
Back in 2007, a 16-year-old Lawrence scored her first major role on the TBS family comedy “The Bill Engvall Show.” (In fact, she had no real acting training before landing the gig.) The sitcom centered on Blue Collar Comedy Tour veteran Engvall, but Lawrence turned heads as Bill’s eldest daughter, Lauren; she even won a Young Artist Award for Outstanding Young Performer in a TV Series. (Wonder if she’ll still have room for that award on her mantle after this year’s Oscars.)
