THREE GOOD REASONS
- 1This movie has an absolutely amazing cast: Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Mia Wasikowska, Guy Pearce, and the fantastic Jessica Chastain. Shia LaBeouf is also in the movie.
- 2Postpunk god and original bad seed Nick Cave wrote the script. Previously, Cave and "Lawless" director John Hillcoat collaborated to make the critically lauded Australian Western "The Proposition." If you like your crime sagas to be two-fisted and filled with Old Testament-style violence, this is the movie for you.
- 3"Lawless" was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or in the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, so it's probably pretty good.
